New to looking at Kioti, is the NX comparable the Grand L in Kubota?

Doing my comparisons it looks like a NX6010 Cab matches up as a fair comparison to the Kubota GrandL 5460 Cab.

The Kubota engine is 4cyl and more displacement is the only big difference I can find. Am I on the right track?

Also, what does the DK6010SE compare to in Kubota?

Dusty, I went through the same comparison. Demo'd both K brands and the models you noted. For me and as well as my wife who uses the tractor at least 25% of the time, the ergonomics of the NX were "blockier" than the Kubota. Sort of like how we liked the Kioti cab markedly more than the LS cab. In the end the difference in the cost was about 8K less in my part of Tennessee and we did not feel like the Kubota was 8k better. If someone else was cutting the check then I would have gone with the Kubota. Really dug the rotating seat and the joystick set up. Sitting here today though I like having and extra 8K in the bank and the Kioti has yet to disappoint. Hope this helps.

Thanks! I am wanting a cab and the NX wasn't on my radar at first. After I had researched it and looked at them I was very impressed. The dealer was previously a Kubota dealer for many years so they have a good, established service department and knowledge.

Dusty, surprised you haven't gotten more responses here after a week. Not the same models you're looking at, but in 2014 I went through this with the Kubota Grand L4760HST Cab vs the Kioti NX4510HST Cab. I've always been a Kubota guy, and didn't really know anything about Kioti. I was about to order the L4760 when a friend suggested I look at the NX series. My wife actually liked the NX cab a lot more. She and I both felt it was roomier, and just as nicely laid out. The difference in price back then was about $8K. I'd been fine with the price of the Grand L until I looked at the NX. After that I just couldn't see how we'd be getting more tractor, even if the spread weren't nearly that large. Haven't regretted the decision at all. In fact, I've been so impressed with the brand that I added an open-station CK3510SE HST in 2018.

You won't go wrong with either of the choices you're interested in.

Looks like the barn sentry is OK with the new one. My Kubota L4701 sold quickly after I put it up and I got what I wanted for it.

I've got about 550hrs on my NX5510 now and it's performed really well. I truly appreciate all the folks here that encouraged me to get a cab. You can operate in conditions that you wouldn't otherwise want to.

Hopefully that cat keeps away the mice. As a safety precaution, and at a minimum, I'd suggest popping up the cab top and stuffing steel wool down the rear pillars (just need to plug the tops). One can deal with mice inside the cab, but if they get above the cab it's not as easy to deal with them there (been there and done that!).

Get it dirty!
