What do you do with your Instant Pot you cant do with a crock pot?

Anyone make their own corned beef briskets and then cook them in the Instant Pot? I saw a brisket in the store today and it got me thinking to make my own corned beef to go along with the sauerkraut I make. Prepared corned beef briskets in the Instant Pot for that matter. Pastrami.... gotta try making that as well.

Crazy me, largely about making a Great Ruben sandwich. But also about corned beef with cabbage, potatoes and carrots.... but then there is corned beef hash..... the possibilities go on :licking:

We can usually find good Corned Beef at the store but can never seem to find the plain Brisket. Pastrami is really out of the question. We do have a large chunk of Moose that may enjoy being Corned.:licking:

Making lentil soup tonight. Using up some leftover turkey as a add in, some frozen tomatoes from my garden and my own chicken stock. Using green lentils. Here it is going in.

Looking good! Are you the chef or is there a better half at play? I leave that creativity to my wife. She shoos me out of the kitchen. I pretty much relegated to outdoor cooking. Although I know how to do a omelets pretty dang well. Most all people burn the egg mixture.

Good Man! We love lentil soup but haven't tried the green variety. Is the taste different?
