Changing Underneath Fuel Filter Issue- Kubota BX2670

Just switch to this setup and be done with it. Also, start adding anti gel to your fuel when it starts to get cold out, the filter won't solve the gelling problem but will be easier to service for sure.

Heck yeahhhhh.... i bought Mike`s filter kit for our BX23s. Its a 100% awesome kit. Nothing needed, everything is in the box when Mike ships the kit to you. Excellent instructions as well, with photos.
And its soooooo nice to be able to change out the fuel filter without crawling underneath the tractor anymore. Only took one time dealing with that OEM filter and i said ohhh heck no, and bought Mike`s filter kit. ZERO issues since!!!

Great point Rick. I`ve got my large filter in between the tank and the electric fuel pump. That way the fuel is filtered before going through the pump.

I service my neighbours BX2680. I didn't think it was hard to change that filter underneath? Only thing that sucks about it is it is messy because even when you pinch the line you still get some fuel spillage.

I`m thinkin your right, i dont think his is installed before the pump. Only way to know is if he says different. His looks like its between the front filter and the injection pump.

Well you`d think so until your out there underneath the tractor in a snow bank in the freezin cold and the tractor is dead...lol

I have Mike's filter kit and it is the best mod I've made to the tractor. It protects the fuel pump and is much, much easier to change than that original one underneath. Bigger filter, too. Well worth the money IMHO.
