Years ago back in the 80's IIRC there was a rumour I heard that your TV could listen in on your conversations and now here it is 30 - 35 years later...and they can.

I was driving home last week and the radio announcer said they were taking requests for their nightly "traffic jam", an hour of music from 5-6:00. I told my dog in the back seat that I would like to hear the "Ramones", a punk rock band from the late '70s which you don't hear on the radio.
The very first song that they played was by that same band. Coincidence? Maybe, but more likely "they" are listening... especially since that station is owned by horror writer Stephen King.
