I have no idea...I wish I knew more about tree types...i mainly just cut up fallen trees or a few I needed to topple due to trail/path/patio building. I’ve ran into some really hard stuff, but haven’t found anything the MF couldn’t get through.

The big log looks like a hickory to me.

I have a lot of oak on property that laughs at me... I started wedge with mall... After third wack wedge jumped out of round and came looking for me.... Some of it can make 27 ton splitter grown....

I have GC 1715 and have been making inquiries about power beyond (it does not have it) and ARGO brochure for MF list it as availabel but nobody seems to know what it is.... Even to dealer it is a mystery...

The gc does have power beyond, but the gc1705 and 15 you just have to plumb it from the FEL. With my gc1710 you just use the backhoe lines, third function remote also uses the backhoe lines. I think I have a write up about adding a third function. The service manual references power beyond in the hydraulic schematics if I remember correctly.

Late back to the party... Yeah there is a PB port off the FEL controls and there is schematic for how all plumbs in shop manual but is rather vague, was looking for some one that has added it to a 1705 or 1715 as sort of a guide if I want to try to do it....
