BX OEM QA/Forks vs. Tach n Go and Jery's Forks???

Got the Tach-N-Go atttached. Went well, but I haven't figured out how to line up the holes for nut / bolt on the pins.

I went with the fixed forks so I could use them with on the 3pt with the Land Pride QH05.

I only played with it for a few minutes, but so far it does not appear to be compatible with the QH05.

I've had the BXpanded quick-on pallet forks for a while. I've collected a few small pallets. Of course none of them are compatible with Jery's fixed forks. Not a big deal.

Michael, can you explain a bit further? Which holes need lining up that you are having trouble with? And do you have closeup photos?

Thanks,

James

Loving Jery's forks on the loader. I don't think I could have done this with the BXpanded quick-on forks.

This just turned into a one man job to load/unload from my truck to storage spot!

Update on Jery's QA and forks... after a couple months of occasional use, I have to say I am loving both. Gone back and forth using the adjustable forks and my OEM bucket, wouldn't do it often if didn't have the Q/A. These forks have opened up a whole new array of things I am tackling. Just came home with a steel 4 x 8 foot shop table and a grinder on a pallet from a local auction. Unloaded both in two operations using my forks. Now I am cleaning up the table and the forks allow me to raise/lower table to an ergonomical height for sanding/painting. Thanks Jery!

I probably should have gone with the adjustable version, but the fixed ones are still really handy.

I surprised myself... since getting the forks, I find they are on far more than my bucket. I am amazed at how often I am using them. So much so that I leave them on now and put the bucket on only when I need it and remove it after job complete. Also I am glad I did get the adjustables. I have had a couple mini pallets and some odd items that positioning the forks was necessary.

My only gripe (until today) was the forks were getting difficult to slide. They constantly were binding up. I remembered I had a can of 'SailKote' spray on dry lubricant. Sprays on wet but dries quickly and they slide very easy now! :cool2:

Great idea! Mine have bound up a couple of times under heavy lifting, but I think it's the paint seizing against itself. One tap and they are loose again. The tolerances are so tight, a little dust and dirt makes them snug. I can't wait to try a dry lube and see how they work.

Not saying this is a good idea, but I was playing with the Tach-N-Go today. Worked well for me.
