Been doing some research on the subject and here is what I am thinking...

First pricing:

Kubota OEM QA = $279
Kubota OEM Fork Frame = $636
Kubota OEM 32in Forks = $338
Sales tax (9%) = $113
Total DIY install = $1366.

Jery's Tach n Go QA = $649
Jery's Removable 36in Forks = $699
Shipping (ouch) to my door = $297 (or to a local dock $218)
Total to my door = $1645

Weight of Jery's Forks are reported to be much lighter coming in at 110 or 120lb. (Got two different answers). But I hear that this is far lighter than the OEM Forks and by the looks of it, the weight is probably mostly in the different design of the support frame.

Here are the pics that Jery sent me of the Tach n Go (front/rear) and the moveable forks (narrow/wide).

The Tach no Go weighs in at 65# and have a 2in receiver built in which looks to be a nice feature. Don't know the weights of the OEM accessories but this is my dilemma. I could save some money by buying the OEM QA and Jery's Forks and sacrifice the hitch and more convenient connect process (from what I'm told). On the plus side, Jery's Forks are 36in vs. 32in. This combo solution below is cheapest and I think lightest weight.

OEM QA = $304 (including tax)
Jery's Forks = $699
Est. Shipping = $200 (forks only)
Total = $1203

Interested in your thoughts... especially BX owners with either the OEM or Jery's attachments or combination of both.

I should add... if someone wants to propose another manufacturer for QA and moveable forks... I am all ears!

Okay a little update. Jery called me and we had a very nice chat. I'm now leaning pretty hard towards the Tach n Go and moveable forks shown in the pictures posted. One feature I really do like is the 2in receiver hitch. This obviously allows mounting of a ball or a ripper/trencher, or other oddball items. The other concern that I have heard from others is the Kubota OEM QA connect to the OEM bucket is a little sloppy. Jery confirmed this and said he has had customers buy the Tach n Go to replace their OEM QA.

So unless someone chimes in here, I think I convinced myself to spend more money without forum help!

I have Jery's set up, but with the stationary forks because I wanted to use them on the 3pt. Moveable forks don't fit the 3pt. Yes I like the 2" receiver in the Tach-N-Go. Other than lifting a pallet into my my pickup, I haven't used the forks much. Forks were used to lift bulky item, not heavy.

Plus side, I liked working with Jery. Small businessman. Jon

Thanks Jon. Yeah Jery was sort of recommending the fixed forks... over time he said personally favors those. That said, I think I would be happier with the moveable ones. Sounds like the connection between the moveable forks and the carriage is very positive (not sloppy) in talking with Jery. Mostly what I will be doing is lifting pallets to/fro my F150. Lumber and steel around the place and some wood. Wife already I make a platform for her to stand on to reach higher areas. This could get interesting!

Jery's website is a bit sparse with detail information but will give you a good idea of his attachments. I definitely suggest you talk to him after you have done a little on-line research. Very nice to talk to and should be able to steer you properly whether his stuff on not.

I've decided on going with Jery's set up as well. Not the cheapest option especially with the shipping charges all the way out to my neck of the woods.

Dragoneggs, we've been down this road before, remember? I have been pushing Jery's stuff for years. Had his QA on my last B2620, and now on my BX2670. You and I have swapped typing.
GO WITH JERY'S!!!!!! The Kubota forks weigh 80# A PIECE! I have lifted close to 900# with my BX, and have had no issues. If you look up my past posts, you'll find more info and pics than you need..
