Hopefully no one was hurt
You can assume that. We average 1 a yr in the 20 yrs I've lived here. A couple rolled a mile away, took the front off a house there twice.
I thought of that, it could be in my yard. You could put up a sign at the top of the curve stating how many rollovers there have been on the upcoming curve. Make the sign so you can change the numbers.
The little village of Wrenbury is only a few miles down the road from here. I actually live in a converted pig building (not quite the castle of Drew's fertile imagination !), but do consider myself very fortunate to have come to live in Shropshire. For those that enjoy slow travel, there can be no better way to take in the scenery than from a canal boat.
Did your travels along the Shropshire Union take you over to Wales on the Pontcysyllte aqueduct ? For others who probably have not heard of it, this is one of the finest pieces of engineering of the era and must still be one of the scariest boat trips in the world.

Did that about 25 years ago. Fantastic. The scary part was (check out the second photo) There is only 4 inches of cast iron trough between you and a drop of 127 feet to the ground or river below. And the trough is over 200 years old.
