lot of long drives going on, get there safely, and go put your feet in the sand. There's something about listening to the constant repetitive crash of the ocean that makes a soothing rhythm in our busy lives.
started having pains in my lower right abdomen yesterday, Hasn't gone away today. Sure hope I'm not getting appendicitis.
Suppose I ought to go get it checked out today. Sea trial and survey on my boat tomorrow and I don't have time for this...
Hopefully nothing but an odd place for something to be sore when pressing.

First cup of has been drank. 54° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 84° with mostly sunny skies. Fell asleep watching NASCAR. Nothing happening for 5 hours. Woke up at 1:00am. Race was at 60 laps. Watched rest of race that ended at 2:30am. Crazy ending. 2 nights in a row with less than 5 hours sleep. Looks like I will need a nap in the afternoon.

RNG, never heard of a Tritip before until a friend from CAL. brought one to a BBQ. It was good. But cannot find them in stores here in MI.

61F now mid to upper 80's for high.
Didn't amount to whole lot yesterday and today back to 8 hour job.
Looks like a low profile week mostly because of the 3 H's.

54F. 85F today & partly cloudy. I need to get started earlier today to beat the afternoon heat.
Traveling with youngsters, I've forgotten all that. In 1977 we took a trip from NW Ohio to the Texas Gulf Coast in our no AC, 2-door 1974 Nova. Our oldest boy was 3 years old. I built a plywood platform to make the back seat area flat. I guess that would not be allowed these days. Hope everyone has a good time on their travels.

I will, though upon reflection, I picked up some seriously heavy packing boxes in the barn yesterday trying to get stuff put away, and wonder if I pulled a muscle.
this just wastes an entire day...

69/84 more rain showers last night and more today likely.
Grilled steaks and shrimp outside for my son's birthday yesterday. He got a bottle of rye blended with bourbon as a gift...seems that's the newest thing in the likker biz. Roasted some nice Sumatra beans with another son just back from Maine and Vermont. Good day.

73 and wet out this AM. Really cannot keep up with the rains. Grass needs mowing again. Where is the dry weather and dormant grasses? LOL.

Rain came a little earlier than expected, so I will only be choosing jobs from the wet weather list today.
Many of my wife's soft fruit bushes have succumbed to a below ground pest - vine weevil. The nasty weevil grubs have eaten away all the roots of those that were planted in pots.
At least the few apple trees planted earlier in the year are doing well, apart from the one I put too close to the fence - it got a premature pruning by sheep. Not sure how well ants and apples get on long term, so far this year ants have done a good job of patrolling these little trees to make a meal of anything that dares to land on the leaves.
Drew, Txdon has some marvelous healing powers, however they may be limited to hands on with old tractors, not sure how effective through the TBN ether for older tractor drivers.
