Hello all,

I'm a relative newcomer to the tractor world but already need help.

All I did was to hit a stump! The filter snapped off the part of the base that screws it screws into, and the inlet pipe attachment to the filter also broke. I'm having difficulty obtaining the part numbers and a place to order on-line. it is a TYM base and the TYM filter number is 12305152100. I've seen the bases advertised on e-bay and they don't look much like the one I have (photos included).I haven't been able to get even close to a number for that pipe.

Thanks

I don't know where your filter is mounted and am not familiar with your model tractor, but the folks at wixfilters.com may be able to help you. They have several models of remote spin on filter adapters. You may even be able to mount that filter in a less exposed place.

Hi kgholt. Welcome to the forum! I have moved your thread to the Mahindra section so you can get some additional answers. Best of luck with your Mahindra 3510 :)

New England Tractor is good to deal with. Bought couple things in the past for my 3510.
The 3510 with R4 is low to the ground, got to watch what you get on top of. Lots of parts down there to get broke.

Thanks for the info and I will be using New England Tractor in the future. I ended up having my dealer get the parts (at a considerable cost) before I saw your post. One worthwhile tip from him though that made it worthwhile. Make sure to clean up all the oil from the pipe fittings, or the pressure will blow the hoses right off. So far it all seems to be holding together.

Thanks again to all who responded..

Thanks. Unfortunately, I am clearing an area where we recently took down a bunch of trees with lots of stumps and branches get hung up on. I can see I'm going to have to be a lot more careful!

I take that all back. I just checked the prices against what the cost from my dealer was, and I actually did better through him. And I got the free Mahindra hat!
