Kubota MX5400 Cab, Kioti NX6010 Cab, Kioti RX7320 PS/ Cab, Kubota M7040 HDC, John Deere 2355, Kubota U35-4, John Deere 317G
I'm seriously considering going from 1 open station tractor with loader to a cab tractor no loader and open cab skid steer. My allergies are just flat killing me mowing.

The cab L's and cab M's both look interesting.

Without a loader I want R1's

I'd like enough hydraulics for top and tilt plus 1 extra.

I'd like to keep my 6 foot wide cutter and 6 foot tiller.

Hydraulic shuttle or hydrostatic is fine as long as hydrostatic has cruise control.

Needs full load of front weights.

Which Kubota cab tractor in this hp is the best bang for the buck?

Looks like a m6060 or a l5460 with same number of remote full set of weights and radio are same money more or less.
The L would probably be a handier size for me though.

Drive-by remark: Kioti's NX line is a direct competitor in the premium CUT market, available from 45-60hp and offering good value and features for the money spent. The NX6010 offers almost 50 PTO hp, is CAT 1 and CAT 2, and has no problems running a heavy rotary cutter.

EDIT: whoops. I didn't realize i am posting on the Kubota forum. My bad.

I am a happy John Deere owner that i have been buying only Deere because of the dealers close to me.

A former Deere dealer I like who sold out to a larger conglomerate of dealerships kept his Polaris dealership and stayed in the area, he just got back into tractor business with Kubota, so that is why I would like to look at them hard with this potential purchase.

There is Case IH close by and a pretty good Mahindra but they are way out of my way, but everything else is non existent around here.

Wow I figured the Kubota folks would be eager to help me spend some money on orange.
I've been going over Kubota weep site build tool and have more questions.

I love my GL5740HSTC, but in my opinion the "best bang for the buck" in Kubota for your needs, ie., no loader work would be the M6060. I would for sure get the three rear remotes with TnT. I would get an air ride seat, cast centers or additional rear wheel weights, but you may not need the additional weights. I like a rear windshield wiper, buy your own radio, Kubota's are over priced.

The cab on the M is roomier and more comfortable, we own both a GL5740 and M8540HDC, the M60 Series have even more room than M40.

Thanks! The pricing on the M's seems like it is a lot of tractor for the money.

They sure are, like I said, I love my L5740HSTC, but the price on them for what you get is hard to justify. Eric mentioned the Kioti and no doubt it's a really good value, but like you, we don't have a good local representation.

I do a LOT of loader and grapple work, so the HST is great, but the hydraulic shuttle shift runs a close second, very easy to adjust to.

dusty, if I was looking for that kind of tractor (50+hp and no loader) around here, I'd look for a gently used one. Around here, used tractors without loaders seem to sell at significant discounts compared to those with loaders - more of a discount than just the cost of the loader. I suspect it's just that most people want a loader so those without one are harder to sell.

I looked at a new M6060 today and they are nice!
