This will be my last post on TBN. I post this so my friends here will know where I have gone, and that I am not dead. Not yet anyway. :) I just cannot in good conscience live with the level of heavy handed and one sided moderation and the last straw was the rules change by Muhammad that Covid...

You always untwist just enough to get into the crimp plug. So you will never have that problem. I have never seen or used these "passthru" connectors. I have always used the dead ended connector plug. I have crimped thousands of these plugs on. Like anything else, when you have done it a few...

    Off-road tires for your car

he had practically no steering ability because the tires would hit the fenders on the car. And of course the clutch burned out because of the gearing/wheel size.. like I said, idiotic.
  12. k0ua

    Off-road tires for your car

It is idiotic. Not to mention the gearing problem with the huge wheels/tires. It would have no low end torque at all. Not to mention smashing the front fender when you turned. Like I said, idiotic.

Most people have not commented much on the fact the Kioti has SSQA standard. I would not own a tractor without SSQA. Been there done that and have the shirt. This is why so many people have cut grooves in their Industrial tires. The extra biting surfaces pack more snow between them just like the turf tires do. Yes Industrial tires are poor in snow and mud for that matter. I have never owned any Turf tires, (only AG and Industrial) but from what I...

Soak it really really good with WD040 or other favorite spray lube. Let it set for a day and turn your air compressor up to maximum and give it a try. It might work. It goes without saying don't stick your head in front of the muzzle. Then if that doesn't work, it is time to try the hair spray...

Remember I wrote that in August 2014, so over 7 years ago. Yes, they have all lasted but the original bulb which I replaced in 2016, So yes, they last, with many over 7 years old so far.

    RFI from Cree LED bulbs?

Correct. Some don't require the removal of the ballast, but you do not save as much electricity, and still have the failure point of the ballast. You save time on the original install as you just snap in the tubes like any other tube. BUT in my opinion far better to remove the ballast, it just...

i don't believe in coincidence. I learned that from Gibbs. :) As for ferrites. Use mix 31 (best for this application) and put as many wraps of the power lead thru the ferrite as you can manage.
