I am pretty sure my deck is unaltered. The RH side caster arm is parallel with the edge of the mower. The LH side is skewed. See attached pictures. Someone hit something very solid to bend the arm that much. They are pretty stout pieces of steel. Doug

I found a Youtube video of a machine with then cruise control option. The lever would be on the same panel as all the other levers. And yes, no cruise control on my machine. The pertinent section starts at around 3:30. Doug

I don’t see any levers on my machine that looks like the parts breakdown illustration of the lever. I can’t tell exactly where the lever would be located with the parts breakdown schematic drawing, but I doubt I have the cruise option.

Hmmm, I am not aware that mine has the cruise control option. I have not noted any lever or knob or anything else that might engage/disengage the feature. I'll investigate that a little from my end.

Arto, I have not been able to locate a zerk fitting anywhere on the speed control pivots. The manual indicates that it requires grease, but the best I could come up with was spray some lithium grease in the general direction of the pivots. Am I missing something there? Doug

Another thing I notice is that a low lift blade raises less dust than a high lift blade. I have a set of stock Kubota blades which are low lift and a set of Oregon high lift gator blades. The high lift works nice in spring when the cuttings are heavy to help discharge, but they are dusty! Doug

I should have mentioned in my post that my low tech way of minimizing the dust cloud is I idle down the RPM's while in the thin areas. Still a cloud, but a much smaller cloud.:giggle:

I had the same problem. Find a Torx bit that almost fits, then drive it in with a hammer. I apologize that I don't remember what size Torx it was. It worked like a charm. I almost didn't bother to replace it with a new one, but did replace it anyway.
