There seems to be 2 schools of thought here. Those that need a loader to bring rounds to the splitter. And those that are content to bring the splitter to the rounds. Then there are those who have 2 tractors. :p

I like the idea. No additional motor to maintain...I have been looking for a used one. Actually it should be pretty easy to make one if you're handy

And that is why I own a Kubota. The arms slide in and out and side to side with adjustment pins. I can cant the mower off to the left or right and it stays there...no tire rubbing, no bending Upon further thought in order for one arm to swing out the other arm would have to swing in or bend...

Another question would be why is there no restriction preventing the tractor drag arms from spreading? My older tractors had a X of chains between them limiting spread. And the current Kubota has sliding adjustable side support arms limiting the arms lateral movement preventing this from...

Sometimes only a slide hammer will do. Looks like a hole where you could put a hardened bolt thru the end and and tap with a hammer

Significant savings here, at least $1 a gal on red diesel due to high road tax so going to town for 100 gal makes sense.

My wife's Aunt had a huge plywood box affixed to (built around) the Kubota bucket for horse manure when they boarded a lot of horses on their place. They would till the manure into the fields. Actually horse manure is a poor fertilizer but you have to do something with it...

I built a cement block bin about 8x8x4 with a concrete floor. Had the little woman dump all the manure in there then any bucket small enough to fit in the dumpster (60") was used to load the weekly haul off bin.
