I have a Subaru 2 cylinder EH720 engine. I'm putting 2 new ignition coils on it. I noticed the Stop Diode was not connected to the coils. Each coil has one spade terminal. THe stop diode has a single wire unused with a spade connector which looks like it reaches the nearest coil. My questions...

In CA vehicles with handicapped plates get a pass on weight fees. My handicap plate is on my 3/4 ton van not my car. Even a small econo car pays $300 a yr registration with a $50 smog check every 2 yrs :rolleyes:

IN short EVs are doing more damage with their increased weight and paying zero road use tax through gasoline purchases. Seems to me an annual road access tax may be appropriate by weight. The same way you pay higher registration for a 1 ton truck vs a car now

CA is reporting a loss of road tax revenue due to the push for electric vehicles. Additional gas tax will be implemented to make up the lost funds. New road tolls do not surprise me. Glad we do not have toll roads in our rural area.

I'm also trying to encourage grass growth in some weeded fields. Grasses take mowing much better than weeds for the most part. The trick is to let the grasses go to seed and cut the blossoms off the weeds before they mature. Good luck

Near headons are no joke. Glad you are okay. 1 person died here last week when an SUV crossed the center line while cresting a hill. The driver said their dog was trying to jump out their window at the time of the accident. The motorcyclist did not survive... less than a mile from my house.
