Do You Have a Tractor Shed/Barn?

Man, I'm sure jealous of your lighting!

    Bush Hog brand rotary mower

Corn Head grease (0wt) may be a better option. It was made for gear boxes.

Do You Have a Tractor Shed/Barn?

Yeah, I think the main enemy is the sun damage. As I said earlier, while I park in my tractor barn, I'll sure pull them out to get rinsed off if I know it's going to rain.

Do You Have a Tractor Shed/Barn?

I do have a drive through tractor shed for my tractors, and a more closed barn for my welding trailer and CTL. Have to admit that if everything is dusty, I'm prone to pull them all out to get washed off by an impending rain though. I've not built anything to house my implements yet...

    Fatal Tractor Rollover

Bad deal. Sorry for the family. I run my tractors on the road quite a bit, pulling implements most of the time. Both mine will run faster than you want to run a tractor down the road... I rarely exceed 20mph though. Even at 20mph, you think about how bad things can get when something messes up...

Looking to sell my tractor and equipment; what's the best way to do that?

I'd just run it locally in the classifieds and perhaps take a photo and make a flyer to put in local feed stores and such that local rural folks frequent. You CAN consign it to a dealer, but in my experience, if they have a tractor buyer on the lot, they'd much rather sell from their own...

Anyone replaced side mirrors on tractor cab with rear view video cam?

I rotate the mirror arm to the windshield front, then adjust the mirror to be looking behind me through the cab. I shred ranches with both tractors, and in oak tree and other brush locations, so one small branch can move the mirrors back so that you can't open the doors... Not a good thing...

Why Can't Someone Make a Good 12' Batwing Cutter?

I do several hundred hours cutting a year with a 12 cutter. It is in pastures with weeds and tall grass, and while most is flat, it can get rough with feral hog damage, gopher mounds that are 8' across and 2 foot high, and just general pasture conditions. Doubt any sort of ride on mower would...

Why Can't Someone Make a Good 12' Batwing Cutter?

Yeah, I think a 10 would be too flimsy too. I have a very nice Woods 15' XHD cutter that has impressed me. (Ran it hard over last 10 years through some stuff I probably shouldn't have..) But some of the 15' cutters are flimsy too. Really, I'm thinking they are making these flimsy cutters for...

Why Can't Someone Make a Good 12' Batwing Cutter?

That's basically what I'm running now. The patent for that BH2212 is expired, and Modern Ag has copied it. The photo is in the first post of this thread. Basically, Modern Ag copied the design and deck because they have a design engineer who used to work for BH designing the Modern Ag cutters...

Why Can't Someone Make a Good 12' Batwing Cutter?

Yeah, Woods makes a single wing HD cutter as well. For what I do, I really need 2 wings, with a total cut of 12'

    What do Y'all charge ?

Let a neighbor go fishing in my private pond for catfish. He probably took home 30 pounds of catfish. Saw him a few weeks later and asked him how the catfish were... He went into how horrible they tasted because they didn't taste fishy enough for him, and the meat was so tender it would fall...

Tractor Colors~ What Would You Pick?

That would be my pick on colors! I'd want a gloss coat paint though. Simply because I keep my tractors waxed to repel brush scratches.

No wonder their paint colors match so well! I'm just being funny.... I've known for a while now who owned what. 😉

    Status of Everything Attachments

I think if they intended on refunding anyone, there would have been communication by EA to that effect. Not just on their website, but personal communication to each and every customer they couldn't fulfill orders with. Even after the crash, I would have expected communication to customers who...
