Trying to gather information before my final purchase decision. While going down a slope does the YT359 hold in "shuttle shift" neutral without brakes like a hydrostatic does with the foot off the pedal?
Individual sell. They said the backhoe had never been off and it has 3-point kit. Standard front bucket and I believe a thumb and front hyd for grapple but hasn't been confirmed. Should be getting some pictures but info I got says it's in good condition. Less than 45-50K should buy it...
I can't tow a JD310 and, ideally, I want to use whatever I get at my home 17 acres too. I've got a guy that's is suppose to be cutting in some fire breaks at the larger place which should get a lion's share of my rough road work done. Most of the rest should be closer to the pick-at-it class...
I like the M62 for it's versatility but, with no OEM cab, I think the new ones are priced 20k too high. Good used ones are hard to come by as well.
The KX040 would be better at trail building on the hills and with a cutter, be a beast at cutting trails back and ditches. Controlled...
That would be the best way to handle it but doesn't match my plan. I am hiring out the controlled burns because I don't do fire. Will probably hire out a few other things but this is mostly my project for my enjoyment.
Paralysis by analysis in full swing. The tippy-ness and woods work on my slopes has me jumpy. Also can't seem to get over the $110,000 hump for the loaded out M62. The drive off the lot hit (-40,000) is considerable too. Seems to be over-priced.
I can get Kubota mini-ex kx040-4 w/cab...
Had some illness in the family and it derailed my equipment quest for a time but I'm considering again.
Are you referring the new M62's improvements as being downgrades or just products in general .
Kubota is going to require a down payment for the 0% option which impacts the buy new value for me. If I've got to pull money out for a down payment, I might as well pull a little more and buy used.
Do you have an opinion you'd be willing to share on Mason's?
