I can't see selling a paid off property only to have a mortgage at today's rate when I'm retired. When I'm retired the one thing I definitely don't want is a mortgage. How big is your current home and property?
Echo saws flood my local FB marketplace. We have a lot of people buying Home Depot return pallets and reselling on marketplace, most are pretty much new condition. I would start my search there if you want a used saw.
No way those will work on a tight gland nut. 4ft pipe wrench is the best way to go. Yeah you might get some indentions on the nut, but that's replaceable.
I used this for the gland caps on my skid steer. It worked well, but it will likely leave indentions on the cap.

Let the dealer and your warranty handle it. It's a man made machine regardless of how much you spent on it. Stuff breaks, gets past quality control at the factory and you'll have to deal with it.
I like that you can go to yard and run the equipment before an auction. I wouldn't buy from a RB auction unless the item is new or I had a chance to view it beforehand. If you're in the TX/OK/KS/MO area I much prefer purple wave auctions.
Nope. I love having a smart phone. I use it too much in my daily life. I'm not dependent on it, but it is nice to have. You control the technology, don't let it control you.
There's a lot of carcinogens we come into contact with every day. Unless someone is licking used motor oil off their fingers, just wear gloves and move on.
I own a ct4058, their biggest open cab. I would stay away from Bobcat unless you completely trust your local dealer and their mechanics. I don't think Bobcat is here to stay in the tractor game. I haven't had any issues with mine in 170hrs but my dealer seems clueless about these tractors and...
The good thing about the 6.0 is that they're cheap and you can still work on them. It's a 20 year old engine design and all the bugs are known and the fixes are known. If you work on your own vehicles they're a cheap diesel option. If you have to take them to a mechanic then a 6.0 can break you...
I experienced the same thing as you when I pulled I my PTO shaft from my Ford 3000. It's been a while but I believe I had to remove the top cover to finally get it out.
I have a 9kw generator that runs my entire home including two ac units. Have soft starts installed on both ac units to lower the inrush current. All lighting inside and outside my home is LED now, so very little current used there. With an interlock installed it makes a world of difference and I...
